Aah...after a long long time I have had the chance to pour out thought out here... :)

And this time, its coz this one thought has been with me for about 4 months now...how much is too much?? How much involvment with someone and his/her life is too much involvment? It all varies from person to person, yes....But I remain the same...for everyone!

After a few recent happenings, my faith in the 'real world' theory has been strengthened! Yeah, the same theory that says that in the 'real' world, no one cares for no one! And some dreamers and idealists might chose to disagree with me and I will actually be happy to see that there are people whose worlds are unscathed...they're lucky! They might say that its just me and I can't, on the basis of my experiences, judge to whole world. Fair enough! But yeah, I can say a few things about the world I have seen...

I thought holding someone important in your life would mean a lot to them. The fact that you care for them would make them feel good. But it turns out, thats not how it works! Yeah...I learnt late. I realized, the more you hold on, the more things slip away from you. And yeah, you may say, that ain't new..we all knew that! Yeah, so did I. But learning something from your own experience etches it in your heart forever. And only if we learnt from other people's experiences, so many problems would never be faced by us...but the thing is, only if! :p

You feel that you hold someone important and that you'd never want to let them go. But the question is, do 'they' feel the same way? I realized, even if they do, its just better to 'let go'. I remember another movie dialogue at this point, 'Just let go of what you love, if it comes back to you, it was always yours, if it doesnt, it was never yours'...Sometimes the cheeky hindi movies we make fun of have a thing or two to teach, and had I just understood this one line, I think I would have been a happier person..But oh well! I am not penitent, because it taught me a thing or two I needed to learn.

I needed to learn that not always do people feel the same way as we do; not always are you as important for the other person as he/she is for you; not always is it possible to get what you want. And as always, the best option is to let go... :)

But the question is, is it really worth it? What if in the process, you really 'let go'...
